I’ve often wondered why, when so many trampers traverse some of the most amazing hunting areas – some with good populations of animals, very few of those trampers ever see game animals.
The adventure started with the alarm going off at 4:30am on a drizzly Saturday morning – beats a Saturday sleep-in! Despite the forecast, we were up and out the door, truck packed for our drive of over an hour to the hunting spot of choice. Rain jackets were packed and the quad bike was on deck for ease of recovery.
