Bowfishing in the shallows is pretty rewarding, especially when you shoot a big snapper or trevally, because they aren't the easiest to get up on; it's even better on a nice sunny day.
It all started in the mid-1970s when I was librarian at Kambubu High School on the coast of equatorial New Britain. That was one of my admin tasks after teaching English classes in the morning.
