Better Late Than Never

In 1994, I was given a Ruger .308 for my 21st birthday. Over the next few years, I joined my two uncles and older brother on annual deerstalking trips, flying into the Whirinaki Forest. I had a couple of opportunities to shoot my first deer with this rifle but was unsuccessful.
