Sheep are famous in New Zealand for their wool. However, they’re versatile animals; wool isn’t the only material available from sheep that can be used for clothing – their hides can also be useful.
In 1994, I was given a Ruger .308 for my 21st birthday. Over the next few years, I joined my two uncles and older brother on annual deerstalking trips, flying into the Whirinaki Forest.
