At the end of March 1929, Wilson and Clem Anderson were still persevering with the Otago country around Makarora and had camped at Kiwi Flat where they had two blocks to stalk: Block 31 – Camerons Creek – and on the river’s opposite flank, the Fish River – Block 33.
